Flight Of The Phoenix is a small community of like-minded people. It was founded by Pamela Pace in 1989 and started life in Torpoint, Cornwall, UK.
Flight Of The Phoenix World Peace 2000 is a series of world peace projects run by the Flight Of The Phoenix community.
No religious, cultural or political belief system is attached to our work, our sole aim is to encourage communities of all faiths and cultures to work together towards world peace and respect for our environment.
We operate as a social business supporting our community. All our world peace projects are carried out on a "not for private profit" basis.
To TopEvery aspect of our work is dedicated to nurturing and bringing forward the inner spiritual potential that exists in all people and to build unconditional platforms on which these qualities can be shared, without the restrictions of religious, cultural and political differences. There is no dogma attached to our work, we embrace people of all faiths and cultures.
As a small community we live by the principal of sharing and as professional individuals, we run our business activities with the same ethos through our limited company Unity In Work Ltd. Any working relationship we develop with other organisations or businesses is steered in a direction where not only we can be of support to each other, but can also, as a direct result, generate good in the wider community.
We believe that, if these basic principles were more widely adopted by the business community, then the need for profit first, whatever the cost, can be confidently over-ridden by the desire to secure a healthy, positive and sustainable environment for future generations to enjoy.
Day by day the global community is developing a more intimate relationship with itself. These seeds of intimacy need to be sown and nurtured on solid foundations; what greater platform can we as a people offer each other than that of truth, trust, wisdom, channelled cooperation and compassion.
We endeavour to live by these principles each day, and seek to do the same with other organisations and individuals of like mind. We are also eternally grateful to everyone who has worked with us during our time of growth and development.
To TopWe carry out projects to further world peace using our community principles.
The purpose of our business is firstly to support our community and also to support the world community through our world peace projects.
We run our company Unity in Work Ltd on social business principles whereby the income from the business is ploughed back into the community rather than being solely for individual profit.
We wish to promote the understanding that businesses, organisations and communities can support each other and thrive by sharing, communicating and collaborating rather than being destructively competitive.
We do this by supporting communities and organisations that take part in our projects. For example, we help with fund-raising activities for the participating organisation, and we offset a proportion of any of our products purchased as a result of that fund-raising to the participating organisation.
All our community members are also employees of the company.
